EPISODE 27 GRANDMA CHAPMAN’S POETRY

Welcome back to my web site, and thanks for being here.  I have finished Mr. Wugidgem And The Faces Of Freedom!  I will spend the next week fine-tuning the manuscript, and then begin podcasting it the following week.  By the way, if you would like to order a print copy of the first Mr. Wugidgem Adventure, you can find it at www.createspace.com/3476205.

Today’s poem from Grandma Chapman’s Poetry is Airmen.  I hope you enjoy it!

As I have in the past few episodes, I am including the text of the poem for those of you who would like to follow along.

AIRMEN

BY

FLORENCE CHAPMAN

God bless all Airmen, wherever they go,

As they travel far and are never slow,

Going above the clouds so high,

On their many trips, far and nigh.

The crews of the Jets, so big and strong,

Must not err or do things wrong,

Their many cares and great responsibility

Need long training and much ability.

May the weather be fair, so they

Can leave the Airports without delay,

Making the trips safely and returning home

For a rest, before they further roam.
