EPISODE 11 TALKING TO THE WORLD FROM PAN AM’S CLIPPERS

I’m Allan Chapman  and welcome to Episode 11 my Dad’s book, Talking To The World From Pan Am’s Clippers.  Last week we saw a bit about my parents romance, and then followed Dad on some of his early Rio based trips.  Today we’ll be with him and the other crew members during a hard-to-imagine weather caused diversion to an alternate landing site.

EPISODE 10 TALKING TO THE WORLD FROM PAN AM’S CLIPPERS

One of the most difficult tasks we writers embarks upon is finding someone to review your book.  Our Stanford Class Correspondant read my Thriller, Slaves On Horseback, and wrote in his column that the book was a “good read.”

Now, however, I just received a letter from the Midwest Book Review announcing they were reviewing the book in their February, 2012 online site, www.midwestbookreview.com.
Please take a look!
Thanks!

EPISODE 9 TALKING TO THE WORLD FROM PAN AM’S CLIPPERS

I’m Allan Chapman and thanks for joining me today for Episode 9 of Talking To The World From Pan Am’s Clippers.  Last week we were with Dad’s neighbor, Flight Radio Officer, Sammy Mason, during a crash off Kingston, Jamaica.  Dad didn’t really mention it in his commentary, but we also saw how different media reporting can conflict.  Mason was the last to leave the sinking aircraft, as evidenced by photographs, but one reporter wrote that the Pilot and Co-Pilot were the final evacuees.  This week we’ll see spy activity in the Western Hemisphere prior to World War Two.
