THE GREAT OAK TREE

I’m extending the 20% discount offer on the Paperback version of Young Mister Wugidgem. The discounted price is $10.37 versus the cover price of $12.96.

My Stanford Professor, Nancy Huddleston Packer, wrote the following review:

Young Mister Wugidgem is a fantasy, a mystery, and a family saga all rolled into one. At the heart of the book are the charming  Wugidgems: father Will, a professional magician, mother Joan, a very rational lawyer, the brave thirteen-year-old James, and the spunky little Sally. When evil forces threaten their family on James’s birthday, all four Wugidgems must awaken their slumbering magical powers to ward it off. In the process, they learn how the past entangles the present.  As the family  work together to defeat evil and to escape from the past,  their love and respect for each other are strengthened.  All four Wugidgems are unusual, entertaining, and attractive.  Every reader will have a favorite.”

YOUNG MISTER WUGIDGEM EPISODE 16

THE GREAT OAK TREE

I want to step back from the action of Young Mister Wugidgem and share with you the reasons I have written the Mister Wugidgem 6 book series, as well as my first book, a Thriller, Slaves On Horseback. Through these stories, I am speaking not only to children, but also to their parents, grandparents, great-grand parents, aunts, uncles, teachers, and anyone else who influences children. I believe this means every single one of you.

I believe the potential for evil exists in all of us. I believe more strongly that everyone one has a greater potential for good, and that potential can overcome evil. I feel the need to communicate this now because I see the world running amuck (look this word up, even if you think you know the meaning!) with greed, narcissism, exclusionism, bullying, and power domination. These evil states of being are juxtaposed with the positives of acceptance, inclusiveness, forgiveness, and love I see in much of today’s younger generations. I fear the foibles of the older generations could smother and pervert the positive and healthy traits of the younger ones.

What I attempt to do in my stories is portray these positive and healthy actions of the younger generations as win-win ways to live life. I hope you have seen this in my works, and if you have, you’ve inculcated those actions your belief system.

If you believe this is the right path, please pass this along to everyone you know. Please consider writing a brief review of whatever books of mine you have read. You can do this on the top my of Amazon site:
